BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The purpose of the University Enterprises, Inc. Board of Directors is to oversee and guide the University Enterprises in fulfilling its mission to the University. In accordance with this purpose, the Board of Directors:
- Establishes and approves policies and goals for University Enterprises;
- Determines the employment relationship of, as well as advises, evaluates, and assists the chief executive officer;
- In collaboration with the chief executive officer, monitors the performance of the University Enterprises;
- Individually and as a group, acts in the best interest of the University through careful preparation and adherence to the highest ethical standards;
- Is the liaison between University Enterprises and both the University and the wider community;
- Enters into partnerships with the University and the wider community; and,
- Approves budget and financial plans and responds to the University's requests for support and financial commitments.
