| Executive Director
Marti Gray On Behalf of President Alexander Gonzalez, I would like to announce the appointment of Marti Gray as the Interim Director of University Enterprises Inc. She will be in the position beginning June 1 and will continue through June of next year. Ms. Gray is currently the Director of the Foundation at Cal State San Marcos and had announced her retirement, but has graciously agreed to serve in the interim position to allow for a smooth transition following Matt Altier's departure. The search for the permanent Director will begin next year. Ms. Gray brings many years of experience and a thorough understanding of the CSU that will allow us to continue the very important work that has been ongoing under Matt's leadership. With the many projects underway, her knowledge of the system, financial expertise and management skills will provide the necessary continuity that is needed at this juncture for UEI and the university. Until she arrives, I have asked Professor Chandra Ramachandran, who serves as the Vice Chair of the UEI Board of Directors and has many years of experience with UEI, to assist with the daily operations and work with me to facilitate the transition.
