Project/Activity Grants (PAG) Program

ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
The University Enterprises, Inc. (UEI) Project/Activity Grant (PAG) Program is an important source of funding for projects and activities which contribute to the overall health and vitality of the campus and the campus community.

UEI awards grants annually for innovative and original campus projects and critical ongoing campus activities.

Funding Options:
PAG resources are divided into two (2) categories, with similar but distinct criteria.
Campus/Project Impact Fund
New Initiatives Fund

The PAG Committee is interested in applications that are innovative, with demonstrable need, and which benefit the greatest number of Sacramento State students, faculty, and/or staff.  We are particularly interested in projects that advance discovery and understanding while promoting teaching, research and scholarship, and learning.  Emphasis on student involvement is encouraged and should be documented.  Preference may be given to those applications which evidence collaborative funding from other sources. For 2008, particular emphasis is on projects which align with the campus Strategic Plan, which may be found at: www.csus.edu/acaf/strategicplan121707.pdf

Who Can Apply?
Project/Activity Grants are available to Sacramento State student organizations, faculty, and staff who have a project or activity that is innovative, shows demonstrable need, and benefits the campus community.

How are Grants Awarded?
Funding decisions are made by the UEI Board of Directors on recommendation by the PAG Committee.  The PAG Committee is comprised of seven (7) members, with the final four appointed annually by vice presidents for their respective areas:  3 UEI Board members consisting of at least one faculty member and one student; and 1 member each from Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Administration and Business Affairs, and Human Resources.

Note: University departments and units with ongoing initiatives and access to general funds are expected to rely on their general funds and thus may request PAG support for ongoing activities only under the Campus/Project Impact Fund.
