GENERAL ISSUES

I entered my GL Account Number (called Fund Code in CMS) yet nothing is displayed?
The most likely causes are:

  1. The "X" in the GL Account Number must be entered as a capital X, not lower case.
  2. With the transfer of the account information from CMS to the University Enterprises IFAS accounting system, the GL Account Number was created by appending the CMS Fund Code with an extra zero, "0". For example, the CMS Fund Code X0456 became the IFAS GL Account Number X04560. See CMS to IFAS Details for more information.

How is the "Endowment Balance" or "Cash Available" amount calculated on the "UF GL Revenue / Expenses - Detail by Individual Account" report?
The same formula is used for both the "Endowment Balance" (for Endowments accounts) and "Cash Available" (for Expenditure accounts). The GL Transactions used to calculate the amounts are based on the Ending Post Date entered.

Endowment Balance or Cash Available =

Less
Less
Total cash on-hand for the account
Total liabilities for the account
Total encumbrances on PO Requests and Purchase Orders for the account

Because University Enterprises does not currently issue PO Requests or Purchase Orders for The University Foundation at Sacramento State, the formula currently used becomes:

Endowment Balance or Cash Available =

Less
Total cash on-hand for the account
Total liabilities for the account

I created a shortcut or Internet Explorer favorite to access the CDD.net Log On page but now my reports don’t work.
When the shortcut or Internet Explorer favorite is initially created, the URL that is saved will look something like this:
http://cddnet.fnd.csus.edu/ifas7/login/login.asp?picked= 0&connect=IFAS%20Production

To make the shortcut or favorite work, right click on the shortcut or favorite and select Properties. Display the Web Document tab and change the URL to:
http://cddnet.fnd.csus.edu

The CDD.net report status window shows that pages were processed but the report is never displayed.
If you have a popup blocker, be sure it is turned off before running a CDD.net report. Popup blockers will prevent a new browser window from being opened to display the report.

PRINTING ISSUES

When I print my CDD.net report some information is missing on the sides of the report.
This can occur if you are using the Internet Explorer File, Print command to print the report. Instead, print all CCD.net reports by selecting the Print command from the Options drop down menu found on the blue tool bar at the top of the report within the browser window. See the CDD.net User Manual for additional information.

My CDD.net report is not printing on all pages.
This can occur if you are using the Internet Explorer File, Print command to print the report since Internet Explorer is designed to print only one web "page" at a time.
Instead, print all CCD.net reports by selecting the Print command from the Options drop down menu found on the blue tool bar at the top of the report within the browser window. This will cause all pages of the report to print. See the CDD.net User Manual for additional information.

My CDD.net report is printing extra text on the bottom of the page.
What you are seeing is the Internet Explorer footer information which is printed when using the Internet Explorer File, Print command to print the report.
Instead, print all CCD.net reports by selecting the Print command from the Options drop down menu found on the blue tool bar at the top of the report within the browser window. This will cause all pages of the report to print without the Internet Explorer footer. See the CDD.net User Manual for additional information.
