Homes

So far, there has been no evaluation of architectural style or amenities for the Village homes.  Those topics will be explored in the Fall and Winter of 2007 after a project Architect is on board.

Our conceptual site planning is based on several types of homes.  However, designs are far from final; these assumptions will probably change:

Approx. 24 large single-family detached homes – two stories, about 1700 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, 2½ baths, 2-car garages.

Approx 150 smaller single-family detached homes – two stories, about 1300 sq. ft., 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2-car garage.

Approx. 65 “flex” townhouses – three stories, about 2100 sq. ft., 2 or 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 1 or 2-car garage.  One of the baths and the 400 sq. ft. “flex” unit are located on the ground floor, and can be either used by the owners as living space or rented out as an apartment, office, studio, or storefront.

Approx. 30 units in row-style townhouses – three stories, ranging from 1100 – 1600 sq ft., 2-3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 baths, 2-car garage.

Approx. 32 units in cluster-style townhouses – three stores, ranging from 1200 – 1500 sq ft., 2 bedrooms, 2½ - 3½ baths, 2-car garage, with 100 sq. ft. “flex” spaces.

Approx. 150 condominiums, 2 baths, 2-3 bedrooms, located above the business area and the community center.

At all houses, 2-car garages will be “tandem” style, with one car behind another.  This narrows the driveways, provides more room for street parking, and avoids the streetscape being a view of continuous garage doors.
