University Enterprises, Inc.Ramona Village is being developed for Sacramento State by University Enterprises, Inc. (UEI). UEI is a non-profit corporation that assists the University in many business and development matters described on the main University Enterprises website. The University owns the Village land, but has signed a long-term lease with UEI, specifically for developing a faculty and staff housing Village. UEI's development subsidiary, University Enterprises Development Group (UEDG) will create this new neighborhood. Homebuyers will purchase the homes, but will sign a sub-lease for their lot, an arrangement similar to a national park vacation home or a home on an Indian reservation.
