Urban Design

Ramona Village is a large residential project in a high-profile urban location. As befits affiliation with a major institution of higher education, we intend to create a model example of smart growth: urban infill, sustainable development, green construction, and transit-orientation. We want to live up to engineering, urban design, and construction concepts currently taught in our classrooms, and provide an educational example for the entire community. Ramona Village will be a pilot project for the new LEED-ND (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design - Neighborhood Development) program of the US Green Building Council
