University Enterprises, Inc. (UEI) requires student assistants and graduate (post baccalaureate) assistants to submit the online Status Form before the beginning of each semester/quarter. The form serves two purposes: 1) it verifies your eligibility to maintain employment with UEI and 2) initiates your exemption from paying Social Security/Medicare (FICA/MEDI) taxes if you meet the required criteria (Sac State students only).

If the form and enrollment verification documents, which demonstrate appropriate enrollment, aren’t received by the due date, your employment may be terminated. Students who don’t maintain the minimum enrollment requirements for the position may be disciplined up to and including termination.
