SACRAMENTO, Calif., September 16, 2019—University Enterprises, Inc. (UEI) is inviting applications under its 2020 Campus Grants Program for projects that are innovative, have a demonstrable need, and clearly benefit Sacramento State students, faculty, and/or staff, or the Sacramento community.
New this year, in support of President Nelsen’s Anchor University initiative, applications are encouraged for projects that focus on community engagement and community-based research efforts that will improve the long-term welfare of the Sacramento community.
The total grant funding available is $80,000 and the award maximum is $5,000. Funding will be equally split between campus-based projects and projects that support the Anchor University initiative.
Applications are due Monday, October 28, 2019 by 8:00 a.m. Sacramento State faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to apply.
It is recommended that interested applicants, especially those who have not applied before, attend a one-hour Information Session to learn about grant guidelines and how to use the online application. Information Sessions will be held Tuesday, October 1 at noon and Friday, October 4 at 3:00 p.m. in the UEI Board Room on the third floor of the Hornet Bookstore building.
